and so it begins…

$Joe kept saying he was having a 5.5/10 kind of time in Squamish, but I'm pretty sure there was some sort of dry British sarcasm mixed in. I personally would score the last few weeks about an 11/10, and if you want more numbers, our climbing to swimming ratio was 1:1, the pitches to cookies ratio about the same, and we managed 4 batches of free ice, 11 nights of free camping, and 2 mornings of free coffee creamer. We accidentally forgot to take a rest day, going 11 for 11, which might have caught up to us on the Grand Wall a few days ago when we dropped 2 pieces of gear, pulled on a few others, and said "I'm so tired" approximately 27 times. We ate 3 meals from Mags99, climbed upwards of 60 pitches, and danced to 80s jams at least 7 times. All in all Joe passed his first semester of crack school with an 81% for style and a whopping 100% for effort, left with just a fraction of the skin he arrived with, and made me 1 happy Jenny. #math #goobsquad$
